The Consistorial Corps appeared in the middle of the 17th century. It is located between the Palace of Oleg and the Singing Corps.
Consistorial building - a monument of architecture of the middle of the XVII century. Consistory - the main administrative institution of the diocese, the place of preservation of the church archive, the court chamber was located in the same place.
For all of its existence, the consistory corps has been restored several times. Now it hosts the administration of the diocese, and on the second floor of the museum, which presents three permanent exhibitions. The most visited among them is the exhibition "Before our era ...". From it, visitors will learn the history of Ryazan, which was inhabited 80,000 years ago.
The singing corps is a monument of civil architecture of the middle of the XVII century. (architect Yu. K. Ershov). He received his name from the singers' performances here, but the main purpose of the building is different: these are the living quarters of the hierarchs of ministers - the economist and treasurer. In the end part of the case with a separate entrance there was a receiving economy. The two-storey brick building is rectangular in terms of sustained in the strict style of architecture of the XVII century. The porch, made in the style of Old Russian architecture, gives it a special elegance. In the building, especially in the reception of the economist, fragments of the beautiful painting of the walls were preserved, and in its interior a "typical" residential section of the mid-17th century was restored.
